with the same keys you use to move your character
right mouse button to slow down his flight and focus to discover things.

right-click and look around.

Aim button to slow and spot, hovering over something will reveal it. Small arrow shows the direction of the next POI in that location(s)

Im guessing the aim button is the right mouse button? I play it on a controller as all AC games are made to be played.

except a controler has no advantages here.

Guys thanks for your answers, but what key do you push to make him fly in the first place

It does if you know how to use it. And it's more comfortable. And snap aim.

Like you yourself said, it's the V key. Tap it once and the bird takes off. Maybe you were holding it instead of tapping it?

comfort is subjective

Yeah, I can't stand controllers, and never use them. I've had to refund PC games in the past that were built around them and had limited kb/m support.

I just told you. 98% of games made these days are meant to be used with a controller. This being one or them.

Try it.

I'm just gonna subscribe to this discussion because most of the endless fights on this forum are over gender roles in ancient greece or microtransactions, and this is a refreshing change of pace. Have at it!

Really? Haven't noticed any keyboard & mouse "limitations" in this or the previous (Origins) release. I think you're wrong but that's fine. I think the game was designed for both in mind, and kudos to the devs for doing so.

I think you already answered that yourself. It's 'V' to start him flying. The only other key I haven't seen mentioned is 'Spacebar' to make him "sprint" or fly faster.

I thought there was a "dive" key in Origins, but I don't think the crouch button ('C' for me) does anything in Odyssey. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and just haven't figured out what the dive button is.

Space + W = dive.

^^^ Diving is just moving downward while boosting. Also I think boost was shift in origins, changing it threw me off a little. Plus of course the ultimate Ikaros maneuver: quickly pressing left-right-left or right-left-right
