I don't get the hate for this game

It's really good. Best AC creed since Black Flag considering Origins and Syndycate were great as well. But Odyssey just has too much content and it's all interesting.
- sea battles and ship upgrades are fun
- improved battle system is great. That feeling when you win to 3 mercs and a bunch of soldiers (and 5 angry civilians lol) on hardcore is something. Gotta say staffs are better than swords or heavy weapons, ubi buffed them since origins
- quests are way interesting that before. Just finished chain of quests for liberating Menos island with Kira and that was really well done. You make new friends, then you meet their enemy, slowly weakening him, romance the girl, cuck her bf etc etc and in the end logical conclusion with party. and that was only like a sub quests chain. I really feel how they wanted to recreate Witcher 3 quality with quests here. And they succeeded.
- cultists system is nice. Something new and fresh. Finding clues of their hideouts and identities is fun. Somettimes you run into random culti and kill them tho, which is kinda confusing
- all islands are so different and interesting to explore
- 70 hrs in and loot system is still holding up. Even though I have a solid yellow collection now I feel like that's not even 20% of all sets
- arena in origins was grindy and boring. You had to complete 5 stages of waves to get to the boss. In this one you fight him after 5 or 6 waves. Thank god
- merc system is a bit of annoying when they magically knows your place and chasing you even on ships

I don't really understand why people hate this game and Ubi. No one forces you to buy xp boost, just play the game and you'll get to the 50 eventually. There's so much content you'll get to 50 even before exploring all map.
p.s. any ideas where to get legendary staff?

no. Even as Spartan its not plausible. Women Sparta didnt really got fighting training. Not the same way the men did. + she is living in Greece, where nobody would have ever hired a female mercenary. Honestly the only time I've ever touched AC was its 3rd entry, and that was at a friend's house.
AC Origins almost got my attention, but didn't feel like spending just yet since it wasn't "universally praised", (But it wasn't bad, don't smash your keyboard xd)

Seeing other Youtubers play AC Odyessey early really got my attention and for once I said "F--- it" and gave ubisoft the benefit of the doubt

AND OH BOY I'M LOVIN IT. Last time I felt like I was this estatic was when I starting playing Wither 3, which shows just how much Ubisoft has done to polish this game (Aside from offering micro-transactions lmao).

This doesn't look like Assassin's Creed like most people say, but they still love it.

According to certain Youtubers, the biggest mythical creature featured in this game is not the medusa but something called 'grind'. On what island is this grind's lair? I haven't being able to locate it. Appartenly it's really terrifing to the point it forces you to purchace MTs to defeat it. It must be level 80 or something.
