What is ainigmata ostraka, and why am I looking for it?

What is it? This is keeping me from clearing the Odysseus's Palace area and I can't seem to find it. Maybe if I knew what I was looking for?

Its a document that will give you a hint to a hidden engravment location.
Its shows up as some small open scroll icon if you look with Icarus.
And yes, they are very hard to spot most of the time.

Those are for engravings? I haven't taken the time to track one down yet so I assumed they were weapons like in Origins.
I keep meaning to do it, but get distracted with other stuff.

It is an item with a small enigme on it sending you somewhere
Quite hard to find with just looking

But the bird is good at spoting items, so, use it

Thanks, everyone. I figured it out now and how to find them. I used the bird to find it, still was not easy.

They are fun little riddles though! I liked them more in origins though, the one with the pirate ship in the desert having to be done at a specific time of day to show the X was my favorite.

At the end of the game i had like 30 unsolved ones in my inventory. Just could not be bothered to go looking for them, you get so many op engravements anyway.

That was my favorite as well. I wish they'd have had a few more like that.

They "Kinda" do, there is one that you get guided to at the break of dawn through an archway.

I've solved a few now can't remeber if there was anything at the locations (unless it was tablets?). So do you get something for solving them all?
