Its shows up as some small open scroll icon if you look with Icarus.
And yes, they are very hard to spot most of the time.
I keep meaning to do it, but get distracted with other stuff.

They are fun little riddles though! I liked them more in origins though, the one with the pirate ship in the desert having to be done at a specific time of day to show the X was my favorite.

At the end of the game i had like 30 unsolved ones in my inventory. Just could not be bothered to go looking for them, you get so many op engravements anyway.
They "Kinda" do, there is one that you get guided to at the break of dawn through an archway.
