Can't find Roxana

I've reached the island with the The Battle of Hundred Hands Side Quest and the Call to arms subquest tells me to train with Roxana on Hydrea. However, I can't find her there and her "Sparring with Roxana" quest isn't showing at all. I've not been to Athens yet as I do mainly island cleanup based on my level (26) in that area. Any tips?

Edit: Of course I can pay and skip training, but it would be great to know if I only need to progress and not that the game is glitched for me.

She should be somewhere on that island, talking to another npc with an exclamation point above her head. I remember thinking it was weird that the game wanted me to pick up another quest.

I've been back and forth in the Small Settlement guides indicate she should be but no. No cutscene, no quest marker (I'm playing in that exact quest marker mode). I will now progress through the main story as it seems the entire area has to be made neutral (i.e., the Submerged Minoan Palace chest also needs a specific quest giver).

The quest for Roxana has not shown up ever since so I decided to pay to skip that training. Looks the sparring quests were glitched already and after the hundred hands battle, it can't show up at all.

I went to the island where the battle takes place first and learned I was supposed to spar with her. There was no quest marker so I went up to Hydrea and found her anyway. But she would only give one line of dialog, something like, "Don't bother me, champion". So I am planning to reload and go to Hydrea first and find her (she is on the north side roughly towards the left of center as I recall) before I go to the island where the battle takes place. Unfortunately I am too wasted right now to check this... (That's why I'm screwing around here arguing with people.)

This is annoying, it is indeed brokenafter 1.0.3. Pre-patch it worked perfectly on my first playthrough. If anybody knows a workaround to be able to train with her, let me know. I want her as lieutenant, and I dont want to pay to skip .

Edit: I decided to pre-load an older saved file, and it was still bugged. I tried going first to her and then I tried talking with Drakios first. No issues with Drakios.

It seems as if the cutscene at her place is not activating. Oh well. I hope they patch it soon.

I hope they can fix so that current save files can still opt to train with her. The other only bugged quest which was similar was Portion Control quest in Megaris very early in the game.

The only way I managed to fix that one was starting a new playthrough since it was early in the game. But that is out of the question now, since I am 40+ hours on the current playthrough.

Bug was the same, no quest marker on top of Dolios, and the cutscene would not activate.

Edit: Which come to think of it, they still havent fix that one either, or at least according to the patch notes, so now im concerned about this quest with Roxana.

Question, I am correct in assuming that if you just pay to enter, you dont get the extra conversation line with Roxana at the end before fighitng, about her joining your crew and not fighting each other , or she just doesnt appear at all at the end?

She appears, and there was a conversation, but it only revolved around whether I'm "famous" or just another merc. I don't know whether the dialogue tree would have provided an opportunity to recruit her, but I chose someting along the line of "I'm just a misthios who picked up a few tricks" and then she said like "Well, this will have to do, I gotta prove myself in battle against you anyway". Then fight was unavoidable. Don't know if I could still have recruited her by knocking her out.

Ah okay, yeah it seems the conversation quest at the end changes depending on your actions with her before the battle then.

While training if you pick the right conversations you can romance her, but after a night with her, she and the Eagle Bearer agree that one of them will die tomorrow, and that it was just a fling. But at the end, before you battle you can try and convince her to not fight, and that there is nothing to prove, etc. and then you can ask her to join your crew and fight Drakios instead.

I guess I will wait until they patch it hopefully, if not then I will have to pay, and just recruit her whenever NG + comes out.

Yeah it was a pretty fun quest line. Its why I still want to pick that choice again. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

Same bug here. I found her before I got the quest at the other island. Came back for training and can't do it.

I think you have to bring Andriesta (your ship) to the island. Instantly pegged her on my quest once i did this.

i always opt out to train with her and just go right to the battle. you can choose not to train with her.
