HDR broken?
I have the game on uplay. So after downloading the patch I got into game and everything was super bright so I turned down the hdr settings to nothing but it remained bright. So i updated the nvidia driver to the newest and now with hdr on the screen is cropped and blue. I rolled back to the driver that worked but the blue cropped screen persists. Has anyone else ran into this and is there a fix.

My display settings are 3840x2160 @ 60Hz

I checked settings in nvidia control panel and display settings are the same.

Win10
Gtx 1080
I5 4690k @ 4.5Ghz
16gb ram
Installed on SSD
Using samsung Q6f 49" tv which doesnt let me turn on the hdr setting but works when turned on in game, origins, farcry 5, and odyssey worked before the patch.

Works fine for me, as it's just been patched do you have anything running like temp moniters or something?

I don't know why, but i do know that something called "Rivatune" which MSI afterburner uses, ♥♥♥♥♥ with the HDR

Our game is the same.. Noticed some settings changed as well..(resolution) blue screen with off color text on the left side half of screen.. so far no fix. just updated drivers so going in now will update here if fixed

just checked and same blue screen and resolution looks like 480p on half the screen. it is blue as well. I guess another patch just broke a game as I have no Idea how to fix this issue

I may have to give that driver a shot, I somehow got the game looking like it did before the patch so I kinda dont want to mess with it lol.

Fixed my main issue. did verify and got a 8.3gb file replaced but the final problem was internal display settings. finally got the screen sized and properly working again without a blue background with a full reset of defaults. HDR has way too much bloom on my rig so I turned it off. but how did my perfectly running game suddenly blow all the display settings in a manner that should not be possible? ( screen was all blueish with half the screen empty and it looked like a weird yellow monochrome ) dont find that setting in the menus...lol

Nice I'll verify and see if that fixes it thanks.

Lol. I need to stop updated my driver's as soon as they come out. Two weeks should be sufficient time to wait.

The weirdest thing just happened - earlier today the HDR feature worked just fine, but now it just stopped working (I got the blue, cropped-ish screen thing), and I just have no idea what caused it.
Anyone else got a tip about this?
Tried restarting, switching settings on and off, but no success so far.

...Ok, nevermind, turns out my TV somehow turned off a setting that enables HDR via HDMI.
Problem solved.

Interesting I'll have to see if that's my problem because hdr works fine on my ps4 pro.
