Don't install the new Nvidia driver !
Hello,

After installing the new Nvidia driver (416.34) that is out for Call of duty BO I had like 10-15 fps less everywhere than when I was using the one (411.70) that is actually optimizing AC Odyssey.

I rolled back to the one said above and now it's fine, even tho there are still those ♥♥♥♥♥ DRM but that's another subject.

16 Gb Corsair DDR4 RAM

I have been using the driver from april and having no issues. I forget the driver number, but AC:O constantly reminds me I am using an unsupported driver up in the top right corner, but I stay at 60 fps xD.

I'm using the 416.34 and mine is fine. At ultra. Make sure your game is in fullscreen not borderless. Having vsync set to fast with triple buffer on in the nvidia control panel helps alot.

yes, same problem

I tend not to install drivers unless I'm having problems with whichever game I'm currently playing...

Thanks, I'll stick to my current driver and not bother upgrading, I had a similar issue with Origins, I was 80 hours into the game and then an Nvidia driver from May 2018 broke the game, basically it just crashed randomly, went back to an old driver and it started working again

I'm quite convinced nvidia doesn't test anything with new drivers, they just go "It's done! Release it!"
Dr.Abscondus Oct 12, 2018 @ 11:20am
Read the driver release notes before downloading. If they don't mention Odyssey then there is no change in the driver for that game. Don't download.

The nvidia drivers that included Monster Hunter World at release actually made the game run worse

Plus the blurry textures from rocks and terrain seem to be fixed. At least for me.

Well maybe for some of you guys it will work better than it did on my rig ! At least people having similar specs know what to expect, kinda
