How to get Athena's Spear Question

As I said, does anyone have a confirmation on how to get this spear? If you check your engravings this is the weapon that gives +25% to health and damage during conquest battles. There's a general in both Athens and Sparta who will give you a quest to kill polemarchs (generals, usually the guy who's the strongest in a stronghold).

You have to kill 3 per quest before it continues with that general, so far I've killed 12 for Sparta and 3 for Athens, still haven't gotten the final quests. Anyone know how many you need to do before picking up this legendary weapon?

15 for each side. Then you'll be offered a quest by either of them that'll launch a battle. After the battle, the spear is yours.

Thanks for the reply, but that news is VERY depressing. Killing polemarchs I found to be the most boring and repetitive aspect of Odyssey, and now I'm just halfway there? Blarg.
