So you dont miss anything important if you let the time run out.
Just do them if you feel like it, exactly like the bounty board missions who are also endless
and randomly generated.
Only quests with a yellow ! on the map are "real" side quests with a story and multiple phases.
exactly what Ogami said. They're completely optional the same goes for those mission with those two arrows showing one to the left and one to the right.
Can be ignored, but you also can do them. But they're fetch quest and whatnot. They're reptetive and are meant for people who want / need to grind because of Money relevant upgrades or whatever.

I dont agree with the decision quests though, I did one on the islands of Kelos and Mykanos with socrates and let me tell you, I regreted my decision from that quest when I got the end of the Island main questline. And I didnt have a save anywhere close to that point to return to and change my decision.
