Hmm but the files is now on Uplay folder though not on STEAM.
Ah heck I think I just gonna try. Maybe If I direct STEAM install folder to the Uplay folder it will detect the files there.

I haven't try since I didn't buy it on STEAM yet. I'm still deciding.
But Serpanting said it works for him. But the game files have nothing to do with your progression.
That be your save file which will be on another place. Or Uplay feature since it uses Uplay.
This is more of a Uplay problem. Even if you playing it on STEAM. It still use Uplay.
Ubisoft is kinda dumb and, for some stupid reason, saves are not cross launcher, they tend not to work if your example, you have a savegames from the Uplay version and try to make it work in the Epic Games version of the same game.
Wtf ?? The Save won't just work out of the box ?? But we still be using Uplay. Won't the save be downloaded via Uplay Cloud Save ??
How do I convert it then ??
Use ACSaveTool, it's available on Github and it's pretty easy to use. I did it when I bought the game and everything worked just fine, achievements and even club challenges got immediately unlocked till the point I was playing.
Damn...well I hope it will work out for me. I did progressed quite far into the game already...
Then I bought the full game on Steam.
I first transfered the whole game folder as @Serpanting described it:
To get my save games over was a little problematic. Turned out, that the Free Weekend version seems to have id 5059 for Uplay while the full game (bought via steam) has id 5092. I started a new game in full, played a little then quit. I then copied some later save game from C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<some GUID>\5059 into the folder 5092 besides it. In AC Odyssey I then selected "Load Game" and all saves where offered.
There was no need to run ACSaveTool.
That's very freaking logical way...why I didn't think of that.
I'm gonna try it out now. Tks for the big help.
