What does everyone think of the outfits?

Maybe its cus Im playing as Alexios when I should have played as Cassandra. Alexios looks g*y as f*ck wearing some of these shorts but then we are playing as Greeks so yeah this was normal back in the day.

Yeah Im that picky. It looks dumb when Im wearing all silver but have golden shirt on.

Thats why I hate RPG games.

The outfits and armour are amazing in my opinion. I think they go better with Cassandra... and that Wonder Woman outfit

i personally am a fan of ancient greek armoury so i kind of love that you can wear muscle breatplates, linothorax, corinthian helmets ( one of my favorite helmet type through the entire history of humanity) and so on.

i just would wish that there would be more corinthian helmet types with differen crests, i even would not mind getting them through the helix store if that would be the only way they would add some more.

and i personally don mind the clothing under the armor, as you said, that was what they wore and thats totally fine for me, i even would have been disappointed if we would not wear it since that would hurt my ancient greek immersion. (even with all the fantasy elements of the game in mind)

I like the options but there could be more.. Like wheres the shields? And capes? And overall ability to modify gear, i mean color and maybe addons like spikes, plates and stuff to your armor and helmets.

The armor all starts to look the same after a while. My favorite was the minotaur. I made Alexios take a lot of pictures in that one lol

If you don't like the way a combo looks use transmog to change it.

I don't like the way Kassandra looks in armor at all, so I just transmogged all my equipment to "hidden" so that she's just wearing the basic dress that she wears at the start. I think it's hilarious when she's cutting down dudes while just wearing no armor lol.

My main issue about the armor and weapons is after collecting so many it gets overwhelming to try and find the gear that will help you out the best. I don't know how many hours I've spent going over all the gear stats, dismantling the stuff not needed, engraving, upgrading etc etc. It gets tedious. Then there's the debate about paying to upgrade or use something else that has higher stats in one area but lower in another then engraving it to ultimately be more effective and so on and so on

IMO there's no reason to minmax your gear in this game because it's still enough of a skill-based combat system that as long as you have gear that isn't way below your level, having, like, +15% fire damage isn't going to make that much of a difference. As long as you aren't wearing level 10 armor while fighting against level 50 enemies, winning fights is more about finding a combination of abilities that works.

My only wish is that I could change tunic color and/or detailing on tunics with the transmog system. Some of the tunic colors/patterns for certain armors look dumb as hell.

Edit: Also a more in depth transmog where you can edit individual pieces of armor. If you take a nice glance at a lot of other Mercs, they're wearing individual bits of armor. An example would be I saw a merc with the Silver Athenian Breastplate with Battleplate of Ares shoulder pauldrons, with a longer version of the Mercenary Breastplate cloak, etc. He looks pretty damn cool until I cut him down.

More sashes and capes would be nice, and definitely the ability to change color of some things..
