did anyone find a way to save the Tempest in the end? its making me crazy she had to die...

Both options, she dies. However, there is a way so that her mother doesn't die as well. I don't yet know if that has an affect on future events or not in this scenario.

Not that I could find. But the way it happened, honestly, it felt like the possibility shoud be there. I tried punching her, but the fight wouldn't end until I actually killed her, and given how the cutscene plays out it looked kinda weird that I couldn't finish the fight by just incapacitating her.

yeah, it did feel weird. i would have loved to have her in my crew or to get her armor. well, concerning choices, the whole ending was weird, getting kind of the same no matter what you choose.

its stupid, there shouldve been a way to save the tempest, or even make a a commander on your ship who improves the flamethrower

That whole sequence makes me cringe. The fact that as soon as you cripple her ship the cut scene kicks in and you are on land. when that happened I sighed out loud. So we are to believe you cripple her ship then what? she jumps overboard and you watch as she slowly swims to the beach, then you go dock your ship and casually walk until you find her? no wonder she is dead, she died from exhaustion! But seriously it was extremely sloppy, the only reason it takes place on land is so the mother and Darius can make their dramatic entrances.

Then Darius makes a rousing speech and the tempest brandishes her blade at the Order goon. then he shakes his head and slowly jogs away and everyone just watches. not that this is new. The Bad guy walking away and the hero doing nothing to stop them seems to be a running theme in this DLC.
