Questions for anyone who owns the Odysseus set

When engraving its legendary perk on another ser of armor, what piece of gear does it go on? Also, how nerfed is the effect when used on a different set (e.g. +50% skills damage drops to +15%)?

Am not in game atm, but from what I've seen the engraving is roughly 50% of the original.

Examples:

Greek Heroes gives 30% to resists; the engraving is 15% (can be put on chest, *maybe* legs, I don't recall)

Achilles set give 5% damage returned as health; engraving gives 3% (so it rounds up)

I'm not 100% atm, but I suspect that the set engravings can all be put on chest pieces only, to keep from having all the perks (even if halved) of all the sets simultaneously. The legendary perks from weapons can be put on any weapon,

Thanks for the reply. Legendary set engravings are always limited to a specific piece of gear, but it varys from set to set. The Artemis set, for example, provides a bonus to hunter skills damage that must be engraved on the head piece. The Demigod set engraving is limited to the chest.

Since the re-working of legedary set bonuses, the delta between wearing the set and using the engraving on a different set has gotten wider, as much as 70% or more. I'm trying to determine if it's worth buying the Odusseus set specifically, just for its engraving. It's not worth buying, to me, if I have to replace an engraving that's more crucial to my build.

I use the Odysseus set and the engraving you get is 50% adrenaline per ability use. The engraving you learn is reduced to 25%.

With all your other specs in the hunter line that set essentially allows you to stay at a full 10 bars of adrenaline indefinitely meaning every shot can be a predator or devastating shot.

When you take a shot it uses half a bar of adrenaline and with the automatic refill perk in the hunter line it refills in about 2 and a half seconds. Almost instantly if you follow up your special shot with a normal shot and you have adrenaline to hit specced.

Basically you can sit outside of a fort and ghost arrow the entire place and never get any bounty whatsoever.

Takes like 3 minutes to clear out a fort.....if that.

Actually, it was your post in another thread that got me interested in the set. I appreciate the info. Next time you fire up the game, would you mind checking to see where that engraving goes when used on another set? Also, have you tried it at only 25% and if so, is it still worth having?
