Hephaistos’s Workshop - learn unclickable

Is there some requirement to be able to use LEARN at Hephaistos? For me its greyed, cannot click it ..

Is the entire feature unavailable, or does it let you open the list of engravings and those are grayed out? If it's the latter, you have to unlock an engraving all the way up to tier 5 by completing its requirements before you can upgrade it at the workshop.

I fully understand, and when I use the word "upgrade" I'm referring to increasing the quality of an engraving from tier 5 to tier 6 and 7, not the gear upgrade feature.

Did u unlock any engravings at level 5? If not, u need lvl 5 if u want to upgrade.
Blacksmith won't upgrade engravings all the way from lvl 1.
So if u don't have any, probably that's why "learn" is greyed out.

i have lots of engravings on me that are level 5

Hmmmm.... not sure, but do you have enough money to learn? High level learning costs a lot (each step doubles the price).

IIRC you have to complete enough challenges to make engravings lvl 5 and only then you can start upgrading them up to lvl 10 on Hephaistos's.
