*. Combination of higher chance to crit + crit damage + overpower damage + more adrenaline per hit
*. Always attack from behind or side
*. Dodge a lot. Timely dodges are your friends. They give you the chance to hit regular attacks and so gain adrenaline
*. Run when you wait for abilities to recharge ("when in danger, or in doubt; run in circles, scream and shout")
Also: I recently got the atlantis DLC since they released free content and the DLC is like a whole game for 1/6 the price. There's an benefit from that which let me deal with the legendary beasts. Did I mention I suck at those guys? Well anyway, all done, those cyclopes all done, etc. Possibly the benefit is a bit OP. I don't care, heh.
No cheese? Yeah, I'm with you. Not good at the monster arena fights.
Same. I understand the mechanic but could never time it right so I dont use, I rathet sidestep 100% of the time.
To op:
The trick is good timing and to pace yourself. A few hits, prefferebly with abilities, then keep your distance and whittle down with the bow
How far in is this benefit? Do I have to finish Atlantis?
Second part if I remember correcly. They are gathered and needed to pass through a magic veil.
The catch for you guys? Its through boss-fights. I thought they were great and the saving grace (and no stupid adds, just 1v1) for the atlantis dlc which quests mostly was absolutly dreadful & grindy. Especially part 1
Btw, one tip that is easy to forget : Always lock target so you get a good camera-angle
Would you mind to expain what is/ how do i lock the target? Aim with ranged weapons is a blessing i do not possesss...
I shouldn't say that but that's how i initially did all the real time titles like Dishonored or AC:O. It took me some time to find the nerve and routine to handle it better. Now at lvl 58 i could probably make more of my skillpoints, but most fights even against whole forts or ship crews go fairly well. It's just the bosses that still give me a head ache.
In second phase he seems immune to adrenaline attacks and activates the flaming sword ability. He deals LOTS of damage at this point, while i regenerate 3.8 percent health from only stabby stabby dealt damage. LIFE is dropping rapidly with no chance of recovery. Plus Nemas father, who is supposed to act as my backup/wingman doesnt recover until i think i deal some adrenalibe damage again, what seems impossible at tzhis point.
That's roughly where i'm stuck.
No lock with range and just a camera-thing so you are always facing the target. With an xbox-controller its pressing the right stick, dont know for keyboard
