how do you defeat enemies like...
...Amorges or other horribly overpowered end bosses like Minotaures or angry Cyclopes in close combat? Because Steropes or the Minotaur or even that a**hole Amorges are just too mighty for me to bnrong them down when locked in a room with them.

What i can do is swim to ships and take on whole crews or snipe Cyclopes to death from out of their trigger zone. I am even a pretty mighty seafarer and sink a lot of ships or even fleets in naval battle. So how tf are these endbosses still so f** mighty??

Ideas? Suggestions?

*. Rank (obvious)
*. Combination of higher chance to crit + crit damage + overpower damage + more adrenaline per hit
*. Always attack from behind or side
*. Dodge a lot. Timely dodges are your friends. They give you the chance to hit regular attacks and so gain adrenaline
*. Run when you wait for abilities to recharge ("when in danger, or in doubt; run in circles, scream and shout")

Protip: no one is overpowered in this game

I defeated Minotaur on my first attempt by shooting lots of arrows at it. So long as you're patient and don't forget to keep your distance you'll be fine.

For these and many of the legendary animals--at which I am horrible--I cheese with explosive arrows. A lot of explosive arrows. And, oddly, there is always time during battle to sit down, get out the sticks, feathers, tips...arrange a little fletching.

Also: I recently got the atlantis DLC since they released free content and the DLC is like a whole game for 1/6 the price. There's an benefit from that which let me deal with the legendary beasts. Did I mention I suck at those guys? Well anyway, all done, those cyclopes all done, etc. Possibly the benefit is a bit OP. I don't care, heh.

No cheese? Yeah, I'm with you. Not good at the monster arena fights.

Same. I understand the mechanic but could never time it right so I dont use, I rathet sidestep 100% of the time.

To op:
The trick is good timing and to pace yourself. A few hits, prefferebly with abilities, then keep your distance and whittle down with the bow

How far in is this benefit? Do I have to finish Atlantis?

Second part if I remember correcly. They are gathered and needed to pass through a magic veil.
The catch for you guys? Its through boss-fights. I thought they were great and the saving grace (and no stupid adds, just 1v1) for the atlantis dlc which quests mostly was absolutly dreadful & grindy. Especially part 1

Btw, one tip that is easy to forget : Always lock target so you get a good camera-angle

I shouldn't say that but that's how i initially did all the real time titles like Dishonored or AC:O. It took me some time to find the nerve and routine to handle it better. Now at lvl 58 i could probably make more of my skillpoints, but most fights even against whole forts or ship crews go fairly well. It's just the bosses that still give me a head ache.

A problem with Amorges is that he first uses a shield and can be attacked both with adrenaline powers and by tickling him with the blade from behind/sides. Circle, stab, evade works pretty well until he loses his shield.

In second phase he seems immune to adrenaline attacks and activates the flaming sword ability. He deals LOTS of damage at this point, while i regenerate 3.8 percent health from only stabby stabby dealt damage. LIFE is dropping rapidly with no chance of recovery. Plus Nemas father, who is supposed to act as my backup/wingman doesnt recover until i think i deal some adrenalibe damage again, what seems impossible at tzhis point.

That's roughly where i'm stuck.

No lock with range and just a camera-thing so you are always facing the target. With an xbox-controller its pressing the right stick, dont know for keyboard

dodge

Amorges is dead now -_-

Dodge attack. On every single one of them.
