Well, it is worth $60 and it goes on sale for $20 or less frequently, which you've had multiple opportunities at so don't complain now.

Odyssey is currently 75% off right now at Ubisoft Store until March 3. I would recommend getting the gold edition which is $25.

Odyssey is constantly on sale on steam too. The last sale on steam was earlier in the month. Going by the recent sales of game it has one almost every month.

The Assassin's Creed franchise goes on sale very regularly. I've never paid more than 50% for any of these games/DLC, and most of them I've snagged at 66% off or better. Stick it on your Wishlist and wait for a bit.

I just got in to the assassins creed series tbh after only playing a couple of the early games...

Just wait for a sales ? 25€/$ for the Gold now, was at 35€/$ in 2020 for example, and if you can wait few years, Ubisoft will give it for free, but without the DLCs x)

only a teenager would make such assumption.
people pirate for different reasons.
not supporting denuvo, better performance, avoid uplay junk app, no forced updates, try it as demo before paying etc.

although people should support the devs if they like the games.
