Defeating the Minotaur on Nightmare Mode
I just defeated Minotaur on Nightmare mode at lvl 43. I am using my Snake set gear and spec'd for poison, elemental buildup and adrenaline stacks. I also used Arachne's stingers for fast attack, multiple set of flurries to build up that adrenaline.

I struggled for hours on this fight at lvl 40 and again at 42 with no success. I wanted to kill everyone, literally lol, I was so frustrated beyond belief. But I studied up, settled on plan for specific build and laser focused putting it together. Got back in there at lvl 43 and killed him on 2nd try.

In the 2nd phase the big thing that helped me out was utilizing the two rubble piles equal distance from each other in the smaller room. Using that as a shield sort of speak to avoid Minotaur from charging. This was key to my entire strat. Everything else is what you see in the other videos posted on this fight. In the 2nd phase, try to stay relatively close and dodge or be out of melee range of his 3 swings then move in for melee dmg from behind if you can, rinse and repeat. Stay moving the hold time if you can don't stop.

Even after spending some time optimizing my build, gear and plan for this fight, it was still tough! The hours of wiping on this fight at lvls 40 and 42 were worth the trouble and practice. Thus, a reminder, this fight like many others in this game will require some serious effort and time to practice before you may get the successful kill. I love games like this that provide true challenge! Not like cyberpunk, once you do your homework and optimize in that game, is a complete push over, no challenge, so disappointing.

Good Job AC Odyssey, proud of you guys. Keep making open world rpg games like this.

Are there different achievements for killing Minotaur based on difficulty mode? Or is just one achievement (A-maze-ing Victory!) for killing the Minotaur no matter the difficulty?

Difficulty is there just for your amuzement/entertainment according to what you want, I dont remember any achievement related to difficulty.

yeah, just wondering. In most games they have something to that effect. Its niche, nice. Guess this game isn't perfect lol, gotta miss something.

Dark Souls give you all achievements the same if you complete the game to NG+7 lvl 1 barehands or if you just complete NG overleveled and having other players doing all the job for you ...

Btw, I notice some pattern from the other topic, if it does not fit your expectation or wishes it is bad and wrong, right?

The Witcher Games differentiate achievements based on difficulty mode. WoW games do as well and many many more.

Don't understand your question EF, are you trying to create some drama or have an issue with my own personal point of view and perspectives?

Do yourself and everyone a favor, if you are trying to create some false narrative derived in your head, state some sly undercutting remark about what I think, or try to demean my thoughts shared here, than just refrain because I punch back, harder.

I live in a free world where I can decide on my own and share if so choose to in what I think is bad, good, wrong or right! So don't try to make something more than what it is just because you perhaps don't share the same opinion as mine. Regardless of what pattern you think I have. Are you following me, writing and taking notes on me? lol, get real and mind your own business and try to keep to the subject matter.

Mentioning what you think about my so-called patterns like you are psychoanalyzing me is ridiculous and steers off the the subject matter. I believe staying on topic is one of the forum rules. Hmmm, things that make you go hmmm..
