Find and bring back the sacred bull (glitched)!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me how to break the glitch in mission; find and bring back the sacred bull? I've located the bull alright. Falling right through the ground over and over again from around 900 meters or so and then it resets in this loop... Um, I need to do this mission. Any help will be appreciated please, i cant do main quest mission:(

Obvious stuff first, have you tried reloading your save or doing another mission in another area and then going back?

Quickest option next is to verify the games files, that will repair any damaged/missing files that could be causing the issue.
Right click game in library>properties>local files>verify integrity of game files

Another option would be to see if you have an auto save that's before the start/acceptance of that mission, see whether it's still doing the same thing when you reach that point again.

Other than that I can't think of anything else other than that the developers seem to be fairly active on this forum recently so hopefully one of them will see this and offer some advice.
