What's behind the last door in FateOfA3? (spoiler)
I play a good guy/gal this time + I didn't believe that laboratory guy because he was full of crap, obviously - so Kassandra chose to save people instead of opening the door with "final solution" in Fate of Atlantis 3. Still I'm curious - what was there? I suspect it was that Hecatonheires quasi-titan I've faced a bit later. Am I correct?

Would've been interesting if that was also a boss battle.

So did any of the choices made throughout the Atlantis DLC actually make any difference to the ending? I stayed as I'd played the main game and was good right through, and basically Poseidon liked me and we agreed to sink Atlantis. Maybe some of the dialog was different?

So if you choose the door you don't sink Atlantis?

The interesting part of this game is how you choices often don't matter in the long runt. Azimov's "The End of Eternity" and "Edge of Tomorrow" with Tom Cruise and "Next" with Nicloas Cage touch this subject when multiple variants of an action may lead to exactly the same result - except maybe for the single one of the hundreds possible actions.

I don't think any of the choices matter for the overall ending of Ep 3. I don't remember there even being any options to even attempt to convince Poseidon to take less extreme measures, for instance; and after it's over Aletheia comments to the effect that no matter how often she'd run through the simulation it had the same result.

Nor did my choices in Ep 1 ever come up, at least that I noticed.
