Defeating Medusa.
Just starting the quest that will lead me to Medusa.
You helped me out with useful tips on how to beat the Minotaur and I am hoping you can help me out again.
I suspect I will need to drop the difficulty level to easy but still have problems as I tend to be pretty useless when it comes to boss fight which I hate with a passion.
So any tips or help greatfully received.

This is what I wrote the other day. Did it on hard at level 50.

Don't let the minions catch you as there is only a tiny area that's safe from the gaze to fight them in, and you can't dodge.

Use archery the whole time except when she is stunned from the minions dying, then rush her and hero strike or overpower attack.

You have to guard adrenaline carefully as you are bound to screw up and need to heal.

That was based on my build, probably others have different abilities up.

I agree with most of the above, though not being as quick at aiming with a bow as some, I opted to use the spear. As he says, keep on the move and stay behind pillars when she's using her gaze or you're fighting minions. Do not use swords, as they require you to get within her reach and she'll nail you with a heavy attack for daring to do so. I applied fire to my weapon, so it would damage her even outside of combat and found that worked very well.

AOE?

The explosive attack. You can't get caught in it so you have to keep running most of the time. Eventually you'll get the rhythm of the attacks.

i agree with both above jut keep moving but i used a spear as well because i suck with a bow. and i used over power attacks like crazy and full healing ability......took me about 20 mins to beat her and i thought my hands were gonna fall off because i fought her at 2 levels below her......next time im gonna fight her at level 50.

What is full healing ability?
I find healing yourself is pretty naff in this game.

Killed her on the first try on hard.
Mostly used a dagger with poison against her(I put -1 adrenaline engraving on it so I mosty use it everywhere). Good thing about poison was that when she turns invisible and poison is working, you still see her and can attack..
Her heavy attack is easy to evade. When she's doing AOE it's time to get near and attack her. When she uses gaze, hide behind column or cicrle. When there're statues mostly run around and attack them when she's not using gaze.
When her health is near zero she starts teleporting and attacking like crazy. That part is harder, I think I used bow as there was no time to get near her.

exposive arrows can stun alot of her moves if time right, they also bring down her hp better too. use the pillars when she does her stone ray. she teleports alots so stay focus. during fight she will summon 4 of the stone warriors from above to the fight(she will be in protective barrier during this time) focus on the mob and bring them down quickly. she do this more then one time, when you got your aden. bars full during fight, time an overpowering shot on her each time. if you get hit by her stone ray, healing yourself will remove that. remember pillars are your best friend during this fight, but you need to be constantly moving too(timing is very important in this fight)

Thare is always one that has to post how he beat a boss first try on hard, thankls for sharing.

Maybe there is a trainer I can use. I have no issues with cheats if a game is not fun because of a overly hard, for me, boss.

I find healing yourself is pretty naff in this game.

there are 3 levels of healing...make sure you are at 3rd level so you almost completely heal when you use the ability....it takes 3 ability points and at least level 5 spear to obtain highest healing.

In the end it's not my business but I would not download dodgy software myself. Someone on here broke their game and that's not the worst thing that could happen. Before that, comb through all your gear and skills to optimize everything, or that's what I'd do at least. You're looking for a pretty offensive build with damage over time (fire or poison) as well as burst damage capabilities (overpower, hero strike) in my opinion. Full epic gear with stacked damage engravings. You want to learn the rhythm for those couple of seconds (literally) when you are safe and run like a village chicken the rest of the time. When you get it, it will be very memorable. Getting killed 20 times is par for the course in such a fight but that is time spent learning.

I just got a set of armour that says it fully heals u if u die but has 1 min cool down. So i'll give that a go pity it's only lvl 47. Has anyone noticed if she is more vulnerable to specific attacks like fire or poison or weapons that work well against her
longjohn119 Nov 3, 2024 @ 6:44pm
If you are going to go with a legendary set I'd go with the Master Artemis set and add some "xx% Chance to ignore Half Damage" and "xx% Elemental Resistance" engravings. If you have them up to level 5 then I would go to the special Blacksmith in Malis and pay to upgrade them as much as possible, Then just hide behind the pillars and hit her with Devastating Shots and Charged Shots saving at least one adrenaline bar for Second Wind to heal yourself.

If you prefer Melee then the best Legendary armor would be the Greek Heroes Set which you get from killing Mercenaries, It has " +20% All Resistances" and is a tanky Warrior set. Use the same Half Damage and Elemental Resistance engravings.

I'd also suggest getting to level 50 which will boost all your armor and weapons stats by 1 more star. The fastest way would be to grab some Gold XP quests from the message boards.

I DEFEATED HER ASS AT LVL 91-93 SOMEWHERE AROUND THERE.
i nearly always utilize agamenons armor - hades bow - and the incendiary hvy mace.
i used explosive pyrotechnical arrows and used the pillers to avoid incoming.
you have to be pateint and not worry about bringing her kamala looking ass down quick.
just focus on dishing out punishment however you can when you get the chance and use the spawns to refill your yellow squares so you can heal.
i wore her ass down in like 20 minutes and it took around 55 arrows.
i think it took four or five tries....
was playing on normal difficulty.
finally got my dude up to lvl 99 and got 5 extra ability points so far.
the hades bow-agamenon armor-and i got the fire elemental at 3 and the fire elemental extra points at around 15...
so my dude chucks incendiary nukes when he fires lol.
