Can I get engravings back?
Can I get engravings back? I just got a legendary engraving that is super useful for my playstyle and I would like to know if there is a way for me to retriieve it and move it to different gear. I want to make sure I can swap it with other armor before I put it on my gear now.

once you unlock it you can use the engraving on any item that allows that type via the blacksmith.

the legendary effects dont stack and you cant double up if the item already has the same stat on it

certain engraving are only for specific pieces of armor or weapons. In your inventory (not at the blacksmith) check your engravings and switch between pieces to what can be applied on what

Wait...they're not sinlge use????

I haven't been using them because I thought they were and I didn't want to use one on a piece I knew I'd eventually replace...I would've sworn I used an engraving towards the start of the game and did not see it available again.

they are defenitely not single use, i have the same legendary engraving on 5 different breastplates to proof it.

and as cyberchp wrote, certain engravings only work for 1 type of gear, like only for helmets for example.

There is a known bug if you put part(s) of a full legendary set in the ship chest your engravings can disappear?!
