Nemesis vs Final Battle (Demosthenes and Lysander)

Hi,

when you finish Demosthenes and Lysander quests, you have last quests for both. You can finish only one of them and you have to choose side. If you will fight alongside Athens (The Final Battle), or if you fight for Sparta (Nemesis).
But what is outcome here? I try both. You have conquest battle and same reward from both (Athenas spear). But no territory was conquered, nothing have changed.
Does it have any impact on game, or Sparta - Athens war? Or is it just vain/ cosmetic choice?

i cant see any difference, i do the 2 missions and nothing changes at all.
