Old thread, not sure if there ever has been a fix for it
apparently the place where he exists I have already cleared out and his body is still there, but, it won't let me confirm the kill because I don't have his identity uncovered. so apparently if you kill Melite before you get his clues then this becomes impossible.
looks like I have no choice but to do another full game from the beginning in order to finish the Cult of Kosmos.
The leader of Eaboea island is a cultist and I killed him without having his clues unlocked without issue. Perhaps just leave the area and then go back? As in fast travel somewhere else and then fast travel back.
I will continue with the main quest and ignore cultists till the end I guess.
I wish this cultist hunting thing was better designed. I want to hunt cultists dang it! stop putting them behind main quest walls.
That is not true. She shows up again not long after.
kinda disappointing though, when that cultist menu was revealed I was stoked to hunt them all down, but, half of them are locked behind main quest walls.
I assume that I will be able to free roam when main quest is complete...guess I'll just keep a save file ready at the end of each chapter just in case.
