Same issue. I've heard from people that installing it on the C: drive works. But my c: drive is too small and thus the game doesnt fit. I tried some stuff and I think it's a problem with the GPU. I tried running the game on my Intel integrated graphics and it just crashes normally. So that's an improvement I guess

This discussion is about AC Origins but I actually had the exact same issue with that game .
I refunded by now but I´m still interested in Odyssey if it would work.
Has anyone tried to file a bug report to Ubisoft´s customer service?
this sounds like a driver issue, game runs, you hear it, but no vid.
Did you try any of the "usual" fixes? Turning of FXAA in the Nvidia contol panel, check for missing files.
You could check if there are any compatibility issues with Windows or indeed try older drivers. I would also try disabling the UPlay overlay in game, I´ve heard that it causes problems.
I´ve also read about someone having problems with the WIndows screen scaling (It´s atomatically set to 100%, if you didn´t adjust it manually so it shouldn´t cause any problems)
If nothing helps, refund before it´s to late. AC Origins has the same exact problem for me and that game is a year old, so don´t expect any fixes from Ubisoft.
