Solved. High resolution photo mode pictures solution.
I haven't taken the time to look through all the posts here, but just wanted to share something I find kinda useful. I love taking photos in this game, but as u know, these photos are in low resolution. A workaround is to use the photo mode, and when u have the perfect scene, press the "preview" button, as this will remove the grid, and press the screenshot button afterwards. If u have enabled high resolution screenshots, this is a really nice way to get those good photos.

Ahh.. sorry for being unclear. In Steam settings, it is possible to change your screenshot (F12) resolution . This resolution is way higher than the inate ACO photo mode resolution. SO, press F3 ingame, which brings up the photo mode, press the preview picture button, and while pressing this, press the F12 for a higher resolution screenshot. Hope you understood me better this time. :-)

Where would this setting for higher screenshot resolution be in Steam? And how would it work, considering Steam takes a screenshot at the resolution you're playing at? Does Steam have image upscaling functions now?
No, no upscaling, rather allows your library to keep a screenshot of a quality equal to what you see when in game. The photos you get from using the F3 function are drastically lowered, clocking in at around 240 kb size. Each F12 screenshot with the higher res clocks in at roughly 2,5 Mb. Here's a link on how to do it :

Hope it helps somehow.

Oh... I see. So the wrong term... I'm from Norway, so I guess I stumble sometimes. But I totally get your drift. I just thought it was super cool to circumvent the ACO low photo size and be able to make them better with the uncompressed screenshots possibility. Sorry for the confusion my friend. And thanks for your info in the last post.

Thanks for the tip, I'll do that. Hope this works for Origins too. I just noticed that the screenshots from photo mode are all in jpg format. Very annoying
