Arges has some weaknesses, notably his eye. A devastating or spread shot will make him writhe in pain for a moment, unable to attack. He's also slow, therefore use any method you can to get behind him. He'll always use his 360 ground swing as his counter attack when you're behind him, so all you need to do is roll away, double-roll when in doubt. Bull rush is a nice way to quickly move between his front and back. Attacks that stop / stagger his anticipation animations are vanish and spartan kick. Vanish also blinds him for a time being, making him unable to attack.
