New game and orichalcum?

So when I started a new game from beginning, all the orichalcum I found in the first game was marked as gone already.... Why is that? I would think when you start a new game, it would start like you had never played or been there before!

Silver bars worked the same way in far cry 5. I think the logic is, since your rewards carry over between new games, it would be double dipping to have 600 extra blorbs to spend every time you start over.

orichalcum is a server sided ressource which is shared between all your characters. you only can collect the 50 orichalcum ores in the world with 1 character just like you only get the 200 helix credits at the end of the prologue with 1 character.

Hello,

This is because Orichalcum is tied to your Ubisoft account on the server side, not each save file. You can only collect it once per Uplay account.
