Fortified places?

Im currently in "Valley of King Lelex" where i destroyed enough stuff so the purple bar got all grey which means its no longer fortified? But after doing a Nickolas quest, fortfied is all the way up again and everyone is attacking on sight? :/ Why?

this is the bar which symbolises the power of the current owner of the region, when the bar is low enough you can initiate a conquest battle, after the conquest battle the bar is full again and owned by the winner of the battle.

Ohh, okey. So i shouldnt attack it again when sparta owns it? But they attack me tho, and there is a undiscovered leader in the house :/

you do not fight for a specific faction, you are a mercenary who fights for whoever pays you, which is also the reason why spartans attack you too if you want to go into restricted areas.

every conquered region gets a new leader, i mean, the regions need someone who leads them. :) also the war is not static, it is dynamic, every conquerable region can get conquered back by its previouse owner and that can happen with or without you.
