Why does my horse die?

when I passed level 20, I became immune to fall damage and so did my horse. But since I got the Abraxas my horse will crash or die if I fall from great height, why is it? I didn't happen before I got this skin but it does now. Am I the only one with this problem? Is there a fix for it? (I didn't test with the other skin to see if it's only with this skin, but I like this fiery skin I wanna use it but the horse dies from falling)

Oooh, so the wings do have a utility, I thought they're just cosmetic. Thanks for the reply.

The pegasus (which you can get for free) feels very different as you jump off hills and cliffs. You never actually fly, but the wing animation simulates the necessary lift and glide aspects of your typical horse in flight. Highly recommended!

It doesn't die permanently. Wait a few seconds, whistle and it'll appear again.

Yeah I know that, but I didn't know that winged horses don't take fall damage and I was confused as to why this one did.

Some dude in here mentioned that you can get one of em flying horses for free, but they both show in the store as 750 HC
So was that a timed event or something?

Sorry, the free horses might have been part of the package the game came with. One was very cheap at the store (cost less than the free ubisoft currency), one came from a free club membership or something.

I think it may have been an event because I randomly got a free horse one day (forget which one, it was black and purple with wings) and was confused when I got a notif it was in the store.

It was an event. I got the Black/Purple winged horse for free when i got the game (The biggest package, gold?) when it was on sale and the pony was free in the store. No idea if it was date conditioned or because i bought the package.

I was wandering in the store and saw that one of the horses named Melaina was free to get because of the game's anniversary or something, so I don't know if it was for everyone or because I bought the game last year or something? And this is why I was confused with the fall damage because I was using this horse the whole time and I thought the wings where there just because they look cool

2.Wait for Sargon to give you one or try your luck on the Olympian Gift.

I'm in the early stage, doesn't have abilities or credit to buy any horse upgrade. My horse died when we together fall from great height. But very soon, it return...
