I have both games and i'm happy. RDR2 is far more realistic with everything and has better graphics. AC Odyssey has a beautiful ancient greek setting and also great graphics. Both games have a good main story and lot's of sidequests. Like i said, i like both games much.

I play both just as equally , they are completely different games though. Do you want more of an RPG with weapons and armor with level numbers and leveling up , skill spending , any surface is climbable, sneaking plays a huge part etc. or RDR2, a really good story, some RPG aspects and customization but more focused on characters and story .

(to be honest though I have played more hours of RDR2 because it's in my top 5 of favorite games of all time)

RDR 2. The world in RDR 2 feels living and alive. you can actually follow npcs's day and every one of em has a story. The amount of detail is insane. AC:O is just copy paste question marks everywhere and the game forces you to grind to play the story past a certain point. The reason is to force you to buy their time saver pack. RDR 2 never felt like it was grinding for me. If you check my history I took a break after playing AC:O after 100 hours because it was starting to feel like a chore. I have sunk over 200 hours in RDR 2 and am only 50% done with the story. Arthur Morgan is one the best written protagonist in gaming history maybe second only to geralt in Witcher 3.
