As a newcomer, should I start with Origins or Odyssey?
Which title is more friendly / appropriate for newcomers to AC universe? I want to really delve into AC universe before Valhalla comes out... so any advice would be good.

Also, what about the older entries like AC Ezio Trilogy or Black Flag? Or should I start with the newer entries?

Which would be the better choice for newcomers?
1) Between Origins and Odyssey
2) Between starting from older entries like (AC Ezio Trilogy) or Black Flag vs. Newer Entries like Origins and Odyssey
3) Just wondering, do most people actually play the very first AC game or do they mostly ignore the first game and start with Ezio collection since I heard that the first game doesn't do quite justice like the second game that made the series famous

Sorry for so many questions, Thank youu!!

Start with AC Origins acient egypt and then with AC Odessey greece.

Both games are HUGE open world with amazing grafics, story and gameplay.

AC1 wasn’t very good imo, AC2 was very good and is a good place to start (it (was) free on Uplay) the series improved from AC2 up to AC3/ Black Flag, and then it went downhill. Origins was quite good and would be another nice place to start, I’m 7 hours in to Odyssey, I think it’s slightly better than Origins (so Far)

If you’ve got time on your hands (and money) start with AC2 and work forwards, if not, go straight in the Origins.

Origins is great and is where the game turned into more of an RPG. My personal favorite game is AC 2, it was amazing. As Aeromidgit said, if you have the time and money, go like this: AC 2 > AC Brotherhood > AC Revelations to experience the Ezio trilogy. I personally haven't played Black Flag, but heard it was good as well. AC 3 was kinda mediocre imo.

Otherwise Origins is a great start as the games were getting kinda dragged out and repetitive, it really was a breath of fresh air. Currently playing through Origins and loving it, gonna play Odyssey afterwards which is even more in-depth with RPG mechanics (lots of different gear and weapons, leveling, making builds etc.).

Lol @ AC1 not being very good. It was revolutionary, and it is probably the only AC they made that stayed fully within what it was supposed to be. A game about playing as an assassin. If you actually did that, it was a great game. Not a fighting sim like a million other action RPG's. The newest games are good games, but they should have taken the Assassin part out of the title a long time ago. AC1 was actually unique. Most of the games since, are just replica's of a bunch of other games in the genre (3P ARPG), with it's own variation. Series never would have happened without AC1 providing something we had never seen before.

You should not start from Odyssey because everything else feels like a cheap, slow and boring crap after it.
