2 out of 3 npcs in this game are black
Ive been playing for 3 days. This game is supposed to represent the Classic Greece period, in the V century b.C., and almost every damn man or woman is black.

Pathetic.

??? wth do you mean with black ? I have nearly no black person so I guess you are just a troll
jack_of_tears Mar 5, 2019 @ 2:33am
I would suspect you're exaggerating, I've only run into a black person here or there throughout the story. It may depend in what part of Greece you find yourself but there are going to be a variety of skin tones from white-dark olive occurring naturally in Greece.

That said, the animus interface and the degraded nature of the dna over time mean that Layla's subconscious is filling in the blanks with details she can relate to - so you'll see some modernization of character models and the like. It's part of the bleeding process, as I understand it, which is more pronounced the further back in time you're forced to go.

Issue is when we care more about petty things than then the game aspect themselves . Just noting mate . Chill .
Spritetoggle Mar 5, 2019 @ 4:12am
Um, wasn't a dusky skin tone fairly common in that whole geographic region?
Karoo Mar 5, 2019 @ 4:29am
In my experience not that many except for the persians that came invading after the dlc you might mean, which could indeed be black due to Darius and Xerxes their conquests in actual history, or just the neighbouring ottoman empire.

@jack_of_tears has a good point ac lore wise

Also back then merchants and immigrants were not uncommon although probably frowned upon when not native. Also keep in mind that back then compared to now the population spend more daily hours outdoors due to life being dependand on hard outdoor labour, this combined with the oceanic atmosphere and the hot sun/temperatures made the vast majority of the population lightskinned or olive skinned. Caucasian white was almost non existent in the warmer regions of the world.
Ancient vases from Greece have also been discovered with the majority of the skin tones being painted brown to black when a white form of paint had already been commonly used.
These same vases have depicted multiple instances of all varietys of skin tones living in unison. Showing how far ahead the ancient Greek empire actualy was in both IQ and EQ compared to others in their respective timeperiod.

It is info that is accesible to everyone.
That aside i do agree that all the sjw and rainbow community backlash bs pandering is bs as already stated by @FluffyNo3.

Only thing that is pathetic is your attempt at trolling. Just get lost

As a (Dutch/Greek) person myself i say OP does have a point.. it's not a racist opinion or observation from me, but some are too ..wait for it *dark* and some are clearly African.
Does it bother me, no.. i wasn't there in 450BC so what do i know.

Even the towns folk are a bit to dark for my taste.. it looks more like people from India.. and i LOVE INDIA.. India you rock :-)

Just my 2 cents.. no need to get triggered :steamfacepalm: :steammocking:

Ok... in this case.... we can have minigun in this game. You weren´t here in 450BC so how you know it wasn´t here? Excellent logic. This is excusse for everyone who never saw historical book, or don´t know anything about history at all. Or never went to school.

So you talking about yourself right?

It is recorded that Ethiopians were among King Xerxes’ troops when Persia invaded Greece in 480 B.C. Thus, the Greeks would have come into contact with large numbers of Africans at this time. A lot of those Ethiopians stayed behind when the Persian army retreated.

Well into the fourth century B.C., Ethiopians were regularly featured in Greek vase painting, as part of Greek society.

But PLEASE, enlighten us with your superior historical knowledge.
