So it turns out that Alexios/Kassandra gives away the baby at the end to be raised in a far away land, to be save from the cult. We see a montage of the child growing up and its children growing up and so on till the last one which is revealed to be... Aya from Assassins Creed Origins.
So Kassandra/Alexios is the great great great great whatever grandparent of Aya.

Here is a video with the scene from Alexios point of viel:

this means his bloodline will end with khemu's death, unless aya had any brothers or sisters which in turn had kids of their own

We don't know what happened with Aya after "The Hidden Ones" right? Maybe she had another kid.

Well since its multiple generations from Kassandra/Alexios child to Aya, i am sure there are split off bloodlines in there. Aya was just the " OHHHHHHH" gotcha moment for this ending sequence.

Which in retrospect means they forced this stupid romance and baby storyline on us for just this one scene.

Great.
I really cant stand this whole DLC. Hope the Atlantis one will be much better.

PS: It also means Bayek was completely irrelevant for the overaching Creed storyline.
Its Ayas blood thats important, not his.

now that you put it like this for all we know kassandra/alexios might be desmond's ancestor too and i wouldn't dismiss bayek's importance because his drive for vengeance is what got the brotherhood started, keep in mind that not all of the assassins had the blood of leonidas (alexios/kassandra), think of those people ezio recruited for example when he went after cesare borgia in rome

This whole thing actually lends credence to the rumors about the next game being set in Rome and the 2 characters you can play ( Cassius & Lucia) being decendants of Aya, thus connecting the 3 games into a trilogy.

the fact that kassandra/alexios becomes immortal through the staff of hermes i wonder if she/he would make a cameo appearance in the next game

So Ubi caved in for the whims and this is how the "fix" it, good job

They shouldn't have touched the original idea of the dlc, the bloodline is a major important thing in the AC series from the first game.

Ignored this Anoya and related quests in Origins as much as i could, just can't seem to get rid of her..

I finished it, I gotta say the linking with Origins I so have seen it coming after all she is Greco-Egyptian
Though the pyramids and the Great Sphinx of Giza were built way earlier than what in the last cut scene but it is a nice touch.
