there is a swamp and there is a dead man on the eastern shore. You'll find a clue about the Cultist on him

There is big swamp southwest of fort, and there are dead bodies hidden by the foliage near the edge of swamp. Check thie bodies for clue.

Yeah as the others have said, there is a dead body you need to search for the clue. The body is on the side of the wetland area closest to the fort.
