So they could give us this EPIC 10 second clip at the end that reveals that Aya is Kassandras/Alexios decendent
TOTALLY WORTH IT GUYS! /s
Really make me want to puke all over UBIsofts best furniture.
Now that's not fair. The furniture had no part in the writing!
Though the furniture, by nature, DID do nothing but support the writers... Hm.
Nevermind. Checks out.
Sounds like marriage material? J/K
I played Alexios and I don't believe it was any better. I didnt care much about the whole love story. I didnt hate the DLC, I was happy to have new content because I was tired of cycling trough same old contracts.
Thing that could have been done better is explaining why Kosmos was still a thing and also put some meat around order members that had no quest at all around em ( wich were actually 3 out of 6 members ), only some clue to find em, like these pesky ostrakas, not to mention the fights against them was easier than against any mercenary.
Not to mention the fight with Amorges, wich was the last ''boss'' but felt hundreds time easier than the immortal twins. Also the whole Darius/Amorges cutscene, bro-love made no sense if you consider Amorges made Neema/Natakas killed, not to mention the abduction of Elpidios, also not to mention the whole life of manhunt. Felt really out of place.
1 - You have no choice. Although I had ignored Natakas in every given chance, it still leads to them getting together.
2 - Everything happens way too fast. - Hey, there goes Natakas, sailing away with the ship. Good thing, since you've ignored this character every single time you had the opportunity. Oh, wait, cutscene time. Oh, no...it's Natakas, he's back. Wait, Kassandra just had a son with this guy? Wtf just happened? Did I fall asleep while playing?
The fact is; Kassandra and Natakas simply don't match.
Alexios and Neema aren't so bad, but still...everything seemed rushed.
I still think that a lot of people at Ubi saw this coming, that this dlc would lead to some disappointment from a lot of players, but yet, they decided to take the risks, given the short time between each dlc update, and what was promised to the players, in order to keep the game alive. I understand that they want us to keep playing the game, but guys...quality comes first. Take your time developing it. You have created such a materpiece, don't let this be ruined by rushing this up.
