why so many viewpoints since update?

i uncovered the whole map months ago. Today after the update i had at least 20 new viewpoints. All shown in white since ive been there already. some of them are only a few hundret meters away from each other. no reason at all to place them there. And on the other hand location what really could use a viewpoint sdtill have none.
Or was it simply a bug that ive discovered all of them already before update and now shown in white?
But ive got xp for discovering them location - strange

The symbols are new, they've been added a while ago for more convenience (fast travel).

its deliberate, if you search their official website you wil find the statement buried there about adding new fast travel near sea ports.

no, they came before, todays ubdate just automatically made them synchronized if you already discovered the region before they were added, originally when they got added you had to visit them and synchronize them first.

i am definitly sure ive been to most of them already before todays update but none of them synced automatically. they were only white on map so i dont have to discover them. Must have overlooked them before the update today since i only run daily to the daily quest ;)

ah, i probably missread or missheared the auto synchronized thing then, sorry for that.

anyway those are 22 new fast travel points and they already got added to the game with patch 1.1.4 on february 26th 2019.

That explains me getting two ability points. I did not checked what my level was before so I may be wrong about them coming from my lvl for not synched points yet.

Strange...though I'd wish them took them even away from me and gave me back one weekly quest that had gone dissapeared.

sometimes the dailies dont even show up for me. Even after travellin around through fasttravel. This game was bugged for me from start. I killed the chrysis cultist and didnt get the fragment. Then i was stuck for 60+h till i recognized there is no progress possible no more after that bug. Had to start from scratch and lost 100h gameplay. no saves were there to setback since i played a lot before i found out :(

some people had a problem with patch 1.1.4 regarding unused ability points they had before the patch were missing, todays patch adressed that problem.

i dont know how they adressed it but that could probably be the reason for why you got ability points too.
