And why would you want to disable the taming of a elite/legendary animal???
They are fantastic in conquest battle: Tame a legendary creature, bear especially, and add the 100% Health + 50% damage for Pets perk to a bow. They'll slaughter everyone nearby.
I do agree with your other ideas though. Disabling auto fight especially (via a command). Even a "stay" or "attack" command would be useful. I'd really like it if I could have the pet disappear after a while, and call them back when needed, just like the horse. Pets consistently block doors and get in way of sight....ugh. They've screwed up assassinations and bow shots more than once for me. It's frustrating enough for me to untame it and kill the stupid thing, lol.
Because at the time I didnt know that elite animals respawn. Losing such a rare thing was even more harder to dealt with. Again it was only just one of various possible solutions.
I rather wanted a possiblilty not to bring the pet on the battle. At the time the bear kept dying (Obv I didnt have the bow) and I the only option to keep it alive was to change the difficulty.
Since the time ive decided not to use the pets anymore and just simply reset the perks. The game surely became a lot easier for me. Btw I just finished it yesterday
