I'm not interested in new game+ because this games main "bait" is loot and in new game+ I will already have stuff I wanted with nothing left to collect. And beautiful world and mediocre story and missions aren't something that will motivate me to play everything again. There is already almost no meaningfull rewards in the game when it comes to loot, in ng+ there is going to be even less of it.
Here's the problem: Increasing the player level does give you a stat boost, but so do all other enemies. Effectively, that means you got weaker or didn't progress at all. If you gained a level past the previous max level and put it into your assassin damage mastery, then that would mean you get flat out stronger and are progressing from a rpg point of view. It's simple math.
lol, every game uses 99 over 100 .
Why are peoples still shocked over this?
>_>
But still so many people complained bitterly about stopping leveling, because they like to see numbers go up even if it means nothing.
The most powerful characters will be those like my Kass that got all the bonus ability points they gave out during the upgrades. But it's a single player game. You could turn down the difficulty for the same effect.
As for NG+, I pretty much got my fill playing just the standard main game for about a million hours, I haven't even completed the free DLC. But I might go back to it if I can think of a good build. Also I will finally spend 1k+ orichalchum after collecting it for quite a while. Epic gear rolls will be good in that situation instead of bad.
Heh I'm also hoarding crapton of orichalcum. I spend it only ocassionaly on some sure items that you can buy from Fatboi Lootboxboie(™).
See that might matter if enemies didn't scale but they do so it is pointless. The level increase is just more grind for no reward.
Not every game.
PC exclusive games often go over 100. I think I finished LOTRO at level 105.
