Kassandra after 2000 years
I was kinda pretty disappointed when I saw Kassandra after 2K years with the same haircut

"The usual reason is a distinctive hairstyle can be a quick characterization trope, especially in Anime, Manga, Comic Books, and Western Animation, therefore it can be a shorthand to say this younger/older character is the same person."

That's the best explanation I can give.

then think about the dlc's part 2
secure your bloodline... and watch them all die of old age

maybe she liked that hairstyle xD and decided to keep it, what i enjoyed about that scene was the fact that for the first time in the history of the AC franchise the assassin whose memories you were relieving in the animus met the modern day protagonist in person, i used to think that maybe at one point an assassin will get trapped in an isu stasis field for hundreds of years until the modern age when he/she got released by the people who relieved his/her memories in the animus (sounds a bit ridiculous but think about if the assassin had kids it kinda makes sense)

thats the price of immortality, you'll stay young forever while your descendants will be born, live out their lives and then die of old age while you still linger on, they shouldn't have dabbled with that baby plotline but then again alexios/kassandra had no idea they were immortal after getting the isu staff

They should've known they would be immortal after getting the isu staff because they met Pythagoras, a man who was presumed to be dead, holding the staff fully alive. There's no reason they shouldn't have known they would be immortal.

he even said it that it was the staff that kept him alive .. and when they received it, Pythagoras died .. so yeah .. there are dozens of reasons to believe that they knew
