Feature Request: Less confusing map / icons / quest indicator
Compared to Origins, the map in Odyssey is very confusing ..

I've played for 4-5 hours and still have no idea what is what ...

in Origins you had ONE yellow marker which indicated your current assigned mission and then you could white-mark a location of interest on the way...

TWO markers in total..

In Odyssey there's easily 5-6 yellow markers of 3 different designs + the white-marker

I'm not even sure which of the yellow markers are 'more highlighted' than the others ..

eg: ill go fetch the necklace from the shark ... but which of those 4 yellow markers should i go to now ???

seems like it's all a mess

Interesting. I think the opposite. All the menus in Odyssey are much clearer than Origins to my brain. As for which yellow marker to go to, they all will be relevant at some point. To just stick with the main story, mark the quest in the Osyssey subsection, if that makes sense.

Honestly, it is a bit confusing at first but after a while it makes more sense.

The menus are fine - it's the map / missions-indicators which are confusing

The gold markers can be major sidequests (diamond with ! in it) while Story missions, or your current mission locations will have that 'woven icon' (looks a lot like the saving icon but in gold and non animated).

White -solid Diamond shapes- are usually a quest/mission turn in although they can also be used to signify a NPC to speak to (usually the same thing).

Disable the 'quests' in the menu and just use your 'manual' marker if it's too much.
