Report a translation problem
They have a few similarities like the same alphabet (although different tones for example ε = ἒ) but the modern greek are simplified and they have slightly different pronunciation and the majority of the words change.
This is really awesome and amazing, thanks for taking the time to add all of the translation and pronunciation info along with the shanties! It could not have been an easy task. I gave you a thumbs up on all of your comments! :)

Appreciate the effort, bookmarked.
One question: walking by some townspeople in the game I noticed further Greek chatter - colloquial modern Greek, if I am not mistaken? I've been on holidays to the country a few times when I was a kid, don't speak the language though.
I have always wondered what they were saying.. Same for the local background chatter in Origins. Extremely curious to know what they were saying, and I wish it was closed captioned so I could at least attempt a translation myself.

Is there a chance to get the ancient greek text of the shanty "the tale of leonidas"?
Online I can only find the english version of the song and a modern greek translation but not the ancient text.
