Ship and crew cosmetics missing

I didn't play the game for about a month or two and when I tried to play this morning Uplay was acting like I didn't have the game installed. After fixing that issue I started playing and went to my ship, took me a while to spot it because it no longer had the cosmetics I've been using for a long time and it had reset to default. The thing is the cosmetics are nowhere to be found and the crew I had was bought with Helix Credits so I'm not very amused by the situation. Anyone else experienced this and / or know how to fix it? I've already contacted support, but last time I had an issue it took them so long to reply that the issue had already been fixed in a patch.
