That fight was a bit disappointing as I got it on my second try and I am rubbish at bosses and the reward was a bow which was not as good as the one I used to kill the cyclops.

well reward is good you have to stratergically use that perk :)

The engraving of the bow can be useful down the line depending on how they go about the level cap update.

my thing is, he is called the lightning bringer, you fight in water, i was hoping for some lightning, or for the engraving to be lightning damage...

Have not looked at the engraving but will do if I fire the game up again, it is getting a bit monotonous now.

Done him first try and personally found it a nice fight.

I was expecting a merc but a cyclops works aswell. Now I'm curious to see how the cyclops fights in the forgotten isle.

Yup, I just used the OP hunter build fire arrow and he was deleted in just a minute which is kind of disappointing because he did not trigger any rage or lightning effects

I knew the last one but still not sure what overpowered means when applied to this game.

It simply means you can kill things very easily.

For instance, killing a lvl 50 merc with a single headshot.

Did Steropes drop any other loot aside from the bow for you guys? When I killed him, the prompt to loot showed up and I pressed the button, but I got no items. Also, equipping the bow makes my quiver invisible.

Nope, only what was given from the quest. Bow, engraving and such
