Exploration achievements

Ive revealed all sub regions and completed all underwater locations (i think), but theres still no achievements. Is it a bug or am i missing something?

Anyway, there are 42 locations, better to check a guide to make sure you have them all

The all sub regions is working...but it requires to uncover every patch of land, small islands included

Both are quite exhausting to get....

maybe bug, ubisoft is fixing.

But then you may try look for black spot on the map, there are several spot in the map that are easily missed.

I did the underwater locations achievement like 5-6 days ago i dont think there is any bug!

Maybe ive missed some underwater locations, but i have revealed all sub regions - since if i understand correctly it counts after the map isnt grayed out anymore.

There are a couple of tiny little islands that you have to get, as far as I could tell.

Also it's possible one of the underwater ones may be a cave on the coast, again I'm not completely sure.

Okay, i dont know what caused it to start, but i suddenly got the reveal achievement, maybe some connection was bugged.

I think you have to be online and also close the game for them to register with Uplay, at least that was how it seemed to work for me one time.

i know that ubisoft backup their save to the clouds, but this is steam achievements. This situation looks like the game is suddenly conscious and quickly unlock the achievements before players report problem to their mother base.... Kinda weird timing.

I was thinking about the achievements in the Uplay app, they overlap to some extent, maybe that has something to do with it. I'll shut up about this now, I don't really know anything about it.
