blue screen of death
Since the last update im getting blue screens of death with numerous errors when playing ASO and the game is unplayable cause of all those crashes. I checked all my hardware checked my disks checked windows used multiple programs to check for viruses and malware uninstalled and reinstalled the game...since update 1.06 all kinds of weird stuff happen to my pc...all other games i have run just fine...even FO4 heavily modded with a really heavy enb... this is really weird. Does anyone else experience the same stuff? Im gonna take the pc to my tech store and see if they can find something i missed cause its really weird for a game to cause blue screen of death. I first thought it was my hard drive but i have it installed on my ssd...then i checked my graphics card which is brand new and all was fine...bios is fine, motherboard is fine...rams are fine...no dust anywhere...all i can think of is this game. It is hard to believe that the game is causing this but that all i have in the moment.
Any ideas?

when you get the blue screen of death, what error code its saying?

Increase file page. Problem should be resolved. Problem comes from RAM that it's not enough. Page file should handle this easily.

i got the irql..blah blah and some memory somethings...it didnt show me a specific code. just that my harddrive might have been damaged, which is not and that windows shut down to prevent damage, and i get another one saying that some software wasnt installed properly and stuff like that, but the only think ive installed for over a month is Uplay and ASO and the latest nvidia drivers...but everythings in working order and all other game run just fine for hours and hours. Oh also when i crash after trying to play ASO my internet browsers crash along with windows explorer...i tried to repair windows but there was nothing wrong...i got 16gbs of ram...i checked and its all good.

windows 7...the weird thing is that currently allocated virtual memory is 16298 MBs but recommeded is 24447 MBs. Is this right? i though a 64 bit system basically uses up to 16 gbs...but it recommends 24 gbs?um im lost! so do i just spend some money and stick 16 more gbs of ram in there?

What are your temps like just before the crash? Are you over heating?

56 degrees celcious top...its really cool in there and i love my 1070ti. Thats was my first thought as well but its always cool with highest temp around 60 after 12 hours of playing. my processor is water cooled and the water cooler works just fine. Its not the temp...until now that was always my problem but i stopped using amd gpus and now with nvidia im always cool.

Sorry to hear you've having issues with a blue screen techstepman.

Can you go through the steps to perform a Clean Boot as described in {LINK REMOVED}

If the issue does not persist while in a Clean Boot it could indicate a software or background process conflict.

EDIT: I have also moved this to the Community Support forum so we can keep track of it easier.

I cant even launch the Game anymore, but idk if thats because i barely fit the requirements ( im gonna upgrade soon), or because of some other Error that came with last Update... Before that it worked fine...

If someone can tell me what the Problem is please tell me, Thanks.

Did you try the step suggested by Town? A Clean Boot can help to rule out third party conflicts.

You'd also want to make sure you have verified the game files, which will check for any missing or corrupt files and replace them. You can do this through the steps in the guide here

Great advice!!! At first I increased the pagefile on the C drive and it didn't help, but I use a different drive for my games and that drive didn't have a pagefile, so I assigned one and I haven't had a problem since!! Thanks a lot!!

Thank you for the update! I'm glad that the issue has been resolved for you.

Regarding gold edition, can you please confirm how far in the story are you at the moment, at the moment?

For the ''Legacy of First Blade,'' you need to reach chapter 7 at least level 28, whereas for Atlantis DLC you need to complete the Atlantis quest.
