Play on casual if its too hard or play on hard if its too easy.
Not sure why they have to waste developers times having them fix a problem you can do yourself in literally 5 seconds.
and the level scaling is only an option, you can keep the default settings
Its completely optional.
If you read the patch notes you would have seen that it comes with settings:
HARD - Enemies are always at least your level or above
NORMAL- Same setting as game right now before the patch.
EASY- Enemies are at least 2 levels below you.
VERY EASY - Enemies are at least 4 levels below you.
Also you cant switch level scaling from NORMAL if you play in Nightmare difficulty.
I dont see a problem with this, more options are always good.
Not sure why this is a problem for your game as you don't have to set the level lower.
I know I won't bother as quite happy with enemies levelling with me and not too precious about dying too often...
From:https://www.history.com/news/8-reasons-it-wasnt-easy-being-spartan
"Babies who passed inspection still didn’t have it easy. To test their constitutions, Spartan infants were often bathed in wine instead of water. They were also frequently ignored when they cried and commanded never to fear darkness or solitude. According to Plutarch, these “tough love” parenting techniques were so admired by foreigners that Spartan women were widely sought after for their skill as nurses and nannies."
Its not the option it was the incessant whining about it not being in the game.
I actually set mine to heavy to get better rewards.
What changes they made to the scaling system sadly comes too little too late for me, I've finished it recently and found the level scaling system to be the largest, most irritating thorn in my side.
They're just options and one of them can make the game even harder if that's how you prefer it. Stop complaining about stupid things that don't change anything for you.
