Pants and sleeves

Legacy outfits would have been a great band-aid fix for the lack of sleeves and pants in this game. I could have rolled with Shay's outfit for a while before they added some more cosmetic variety.

I don't like not having sleeves and pants, because aside from the tracker's/traveler's outfit, every outfit makes me look either like a Greek God or some variation of a gladiator.

Which I get is completely intentional. I get that. But I would like more variety.

And please, add earnable pants/sleeves variety before adding any in the helix store. At least get some degree of variety in the game before you start making it paid. I feel like the game is missing pants/sleeves just for cosmetic variety's sake, and those slots need to be filled before putting any in the helix store. To put it another way, it's not like you would want to reduce the number of sidequests by half and then sell the other half as DLC right? Because the game needs a "baseline" of quests. This is what I mean with cosmetic variety. I feel like it's below the baseline, especially when pants and sleeves are concerned, so filling that void before adding any in the paid shop will be a good idea.

Greeks ridiculed any form of pants as barbaric Persian custom. There are some Persian armors in the game - with sleeves and pants.

Like, don't get me wrong, this happens on other forums too, but on Steam it is exceedingly common that people don't read even just a majority of the original post.

That's why I always question myself when I post a thread here. Because of posts like the one you just made.

I'll repeat myself, again: I am aware that this is intentional as I said in my original post. But variety is nice to have because it's a game, and Ubisoft is leaning towards making their games into our own products to enjoy, and Alexios/Kassandra aren't really the type of people that pay much attention to social dogma anyway because if they were then we wouldn't have the option to wear the few pants that are in the game.

I feel like people turn their brains off when they go on Steam forums. I can never expect intelligent discussion with people that actually read and understand and know how to respond.

It is so aggravating. Tell me why must I repeat that which is written in text?

There are pants I guess but I'm not sure how many. My Character is wearing Pants currently or something like that. But I get you and I wish this game had a feature to transmogrify Items.

sounds more like you get that it is intentional to let us look like greek gods or some variation of a gladiator or that they left them out to sell them later and does not give any indication that you are aware that pants were generally not common in ancient greece.

and again, the reason for that is that they were not common in greece which you know but assume that it has other reasons for them not being that common in the game.

The definition of insanity, doing the same thing and expecting different results. Since you always get this in steam forums yet continue to post in them means the issue is with you, not with us.

You know what you are going to get when you post here so either you are sadistic and looking to torture yourself or you truly are insane.

To answer your question, there will never be a variety of pants because they weren't common in this era. Its like demanding they put space helmets in the game before they sell them in the store. Its stupid because its irrelevant, they will never put space helmets in either just like they will never put a variety of pants in either.
