Hated Fighting Medusa

I love this game, but I found the Medusa boring. It just uses the same abilities in the same order over and over again. I actually died the first time because I got bored and was distracted by the football game on TV. It didn't help that I use a dagger so it takes a while to beat her down.

I would have liked it better if she had less life but moved more often and mixed up the abilities. I also think she should have been able to summon more often, however we should be able to climb up and destroy them in stone form.

Yeah, her Stare was annoying. Found out you can stagger her with exploding arrows at any time. That certainly Was helpful.

I actually enjoyed the Medusa fight most. The others were very straight forward, without a lot of strategy, but with her you had to hide behind pillars while fighting her guards, time your attacks and use long ranged weapons to avoid her grasp in melee. It was probably the hardest of the fights for me to overcome. The others were simple by comparison.

Tbh the stupid Boars for Artemis quest were harder, simply because Boars in this game are broken.

I only had two really hard fights in this game, Medusa and the first boar at level 13. Maybe because of my assassin build. But they are the most memorable fights.

Medusa is a pretty tough battle, I had trouble with her myself. However, it was pretty satisfying when I finally did defeat her! Thanks for sharing your feedback with us as well, it is greatly appreciated!

I haven't encountered medusa yet, but by far the hardest fight to me so far has been the poisoner in Athens, a perikles storyline quest. He completely destroyed me something like 10-15 times in a row with me at near full legendary armor (the shop) and at easiest difficulty. I feel like something was seriously off balance here.. Nemean lion was no problem whatsoever in comparison. (Or any fight after I got the second wind though..)

Medusa was pretty boring actually.

Once you learn her pattern it ends up being one of the easiest fights in the game because there is no randomness to it.

It just takes a long time which makes it boring. "Ok she will cast lighting bolts now so run, ok here comes the beam so hide behind the pillar, ok now she will teleport so time to shoot 3 arrows and start it over again.

Yawn.

Medusa was easy. Hide behind columns, Hero Strike (or whatever that assasination damage based ability is called), run behind a column, heal occasionally.
