Iranians (Persians) in this game.
I get the feeling that the developers are trying so hard to vilify Persians in the game and copying from the 300 movie.

Persian Immortal armour is horrible, not even close to the real armours that are showed on Persepolis walls and other sources that we have . In the best case it could resemble some medieval Persian armour but definitely not Achemanid armour. And what is the point of the mask? Are you trying to copy the weird ninja monsters from 300?
Plus the descriptions are catastrophic " the helmet demands blood" are you kidding me?

In addition we know that Persian soldiers wore colourful cloths and armour whats up with the full black cloths and curved sword?

Its funny that they added women soldiers and player to the ancient Greece where women were considered as second class citizens even in the so called democracy of Athens in order to be PC but I guess the Persians don't have the favour of the SJWs lol.

Positive point: the Persian elite armour seems correct I hope we see some good armour with the legacy of the first blade episode 2 and 3 , the Babylonian ship is awesome hoping for more Persian skin and lieutenant

Pretty deceived that we don't get to travel to Persia with the legacy of the first blade

Ultra detail: It is good that we have women shanties for women crew but Persian crew singing in greek is a bit unimmersive (or maybe there are Ionians of Achemanid Iran?)

Even my greek friends were appalled at that movie. When you deliberately take sides and show one cultural group fighting for freedom (which is farthest from the truth, Spartans had slaves/helots forced to fight for them, @learnhistory) and the other group is depicted as being the evuuls who all act and talk like movie villains.

There is a line and when you cross that line it is no longer just "historical innacuracy for fun and fiction", then it becomes an agenda or propaganda. Either way it has that effect. If someone makes a movie about World War 2 and depicts the russians and americans as the ultimate bad guys while making hitler out to be the good guy, while lying about what he did, not even mentioning what happened to the ethnic groups the nazis killed or any bad thing they did, then that would be.. say it with me.. propaganda, and then you would all be upset.

Look, personally I do not care who they do it to, or rather I care about them all. If they lie and depict the Finnish or Norwegians as bad guys during World War 2 I would be saying it is bad and untrue just as much as I would if it was the native americans depicted that way. Propaganda is propaganda and it is bad and it brainwashes/misinforms the youth. Or everyone and all ages these days it seems.

You do realize that its a video game based on a time period.

It is not a history documentary.

You know you can also buy a unicorn that trails rainbows as it walks also. I don't think they had that in Ancient Greece either.

You're complaining about historical accuracy of Persian armour and the role of women in ancient Greek society in a game where you kill a minotaur and teleport to people after lobbing a magic spear at their face.

Realistic or not, it has the same effect as propaganda. I played it for about 20 minutes and felt like puking from the lies, deception, racism and sjw. It is like they do not even know who or which group they want to cater to, the alt rights, the sjw's, the femis, such a confused mess. How can a story be considered good when it is filled with all this political progapanda and nonsense.. they think we the gamers are stupid and can not see through it..

i think they're better off keeping it open to all sides like that as it represents the confusing mess that is humanity. keeping politics out of video games is impossible as societies exist even in games unless you want a surreal escapist game.

Hey...they got one thing right...you can have sex with just about anyone...Im playing as Kassandra first...and was beyond pleased that I got to have sex with some older lady so her husband could catch a break.

and dont get me started about Alkibiades....i nearly lost it when I saw a goat come out of his orgy room...before joining him lol.

Just wish that the sex wasnt so censored....I mean...The Witcher got away with it just fine...hell...The Sims censors their sex less than this game lol....

Guess I'm a stupid gamer. I don't consider this game propaganda or trying to brainwash people with lies and deception. It's like the people complaining about Star Wars or Avatar. It's FICTION. One can take from it what one will. It is you doing that, not the piece of fiction you're using as evidence for your soapbox rant.
