This is not an MMORPG.
to hunt ships, mecenaries, monsters, and other side quests?
I'd say you got your money's worth.
Because I would love to experiment with different choices (choices that I haven't made within the game), and I want to enjoy the story without having to grind for everything all over again. Many succesful RPG games (such as The Witcher 3 and the Dark Souls series) have it, and the mode works just fine.
i made 2 playthrough with total opposite choices the next time. nothing really change, sure you'll get some other cinematic sometimes and a different ending, but besides that, everything feels and is the same.
Because it was a thing in the origins and this game is a continuation of that type of an AC game. It's not unreasonable to expect NG+
In fact you started to see the changes happening with Syndicate.. an amazing game btw..
This has now become an Open World RPG inspired by the Lore of Assassins Creed
If you play it from that angle, youll see it differently
The skirmish function to start a battle anywhere would be really cool. All locations could finally be utilized!
+ random quests you can pick on your ship
Even the progression is virtually endless as you can continue to earn skill points after level cap.
