Odyssey is better looking, has a better combat system, better characters, better voice acting and the ability to decide between two characters. Also you get a hawk. hawk/10

I went with Origins since gold edition is only 33 bucks on uplay If i like it I will do a Odyssey after thanks for the feedback.

origins is still a great choice i really enjoyed that game. That being said pick up odyssey when you can it improves on almost everything from origins and origins was very good.

Does Origins run better than Odyssey? Without fps drops?

Origins runs slightly better. I dont know why people think Odyssey looks better though, Odyssey is practicly an asset flip of Origins, so much reused assets.
I prefer Origins for the ancient Egypt setting though, more interesting to me. Both great games thouhg, and very similar.

a vote for Odyssey, I really like the Greek story background, references, creatures, myths , etc.

While Odyssey came out after Origins, it took me a moment to realize this historical period is before the one set in Origins.

For those not familiar with Greek history: After the Peloponnesian Wars, Alexander the Greats father Philip of Macedonia conquered most of Hela, followed by Alexander doing his thing. Can't have a Lighthouse or Alexandria without Alexander.
